What an unwelcoming location. If you're going to have your business in your home then you should make sure your husband isn't going around telling people he's going to "punch them in the face" I'm all for supporting local businesses but maybe have a talk with your husband about being friendly first. My husband has been mowing the yard at the house next door to you and my husband keeps going a couple inches over onto your property not realizing it and this time was told he was going to get punched in the face and had to be talked to by a sheriff. Not once did your husband come out and be friendly about it and ask him nicely to stay a couple more inches over. It must be exhausting to be that worked up all of the time over grass. He should be embarrassed being as old as he is acting like that. I called a couple months ago asking about availability and was told to call back soon because you were booked. I will NOT be calling back. I will be avoiding that place because of your husband and telling our experience before we even walked in the door if we are ever asked. Just yikes.......

Both Lori and Pam are excellent hair stylist’s and colorist’s. This place is like finding a diamond on the beach. They don’t overcharge their patron’s like most other salon’s, but one benefits from the years of their expertise. Urbana is so lucky to have Pam’s House of Beauty. The mayor or governing body of Urbana should recognize this long standing exceptional place of business.

First time to go to Pam's and I'm hooked. She did a great cut friendly and very good price. I'm new in town so I feel blessed to have found this place. Thank goodness for the terrible service from Great Clips it led me to Pam's.

Pam and here establishment has been around for MANY years. My mother "Bev Criner" went there for 30+ years and ALWAYS had the best service a Salon can provide. They treat you like family, when you become a 'regular' I just wanted to state that I (and the entire Criner Family, including my Father which preceded Mom in death.) have the UTMOST respect and love for Pam and what she provided to my mother all of those years. I even requested (Pam and "Bev" discussed it while mom as alive already) that Pam would do my mother's hair for her funeral, recently, when mom went to be with the love of her life "Bob Criner" in heaven. THANK YOU SO MUCH PAM!!! You were an Angel to my mother and our family. 5 stars are definitely not enough. #GodBless
